Emphasis on future capital appreciation. Principal risk and fluctuation are expected and acceptable over the intended long-term investment time horizon (in excess of 5 years). Portfolio will consist of global securities, primarily equities, in small, medium, or large companies, along with variable amounts of short term bonds and cash.

Objective

The Partners Opportunistic Strategy is designed to emphasize future capital appreciation. Principal risk and fluctuation are expected and acceptable over the intended long-term investment time horizon in excess of 5 years. The Strategy seeks growth through a focused portfolio of global securities with equity-like returns in small, medium, or large companies. The security portfolio is complemented with variable amounts of cash or short-term bonds.

Philosophy

We adhere to a valuation based approach that strives to capitalize on market inefficiencies with rigorous fundamental research. We believe the opportunity to find high quality business at discounted valuations has increased for fundamental investors. The increasing diversity of market participants, such as passive, high turnover, levered, and quantitative strategies help to create price volatility that can benefit the active value investor.
