Pamela Cohen serves as Vice President of Philanthropy Services for First Foundation Bank.
In this role, she oversees the Philanthropy Services Group and provides clients with support in implementing their charitable goals, include administration of charitable foundations and donor advised funds.
Ms. Cohen has more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit, philanthropy, and education sectors. Previously, Ms. Cohen worked for family and private foundations including the California Community Foundation, the Jewish Community Foundation, The Eisner and Jane Wyman foundations, and The Walt Disney Company. She has expertise in developing innovative grant programs and strategic initiatives focused on education, the arts, medical research, aging, housing, transitional youth, and animal welfare. Ms. Cohen also served as a government relations specialist in national education reform in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Cohen is a member of the national board of the American Technion Society and the Los Angeles Advisory Board for Facing History and Ourselves. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (B.A., Political Science) and Harvard University (Ed.M., Education Policy and Human Development).
